We encourage you to read through this page of advice about keeping safe on the internet.

Keep your information to yourself

Never disclose yours, or anyones full name, Social Security number, address, phone number or bank / credit card account numbers when interacting with other nembers or when using the website facilities.

Be wary if new online friends want to meet you in person.

Before you decide to meet someone, do your research: Ask whether any of your friends know the person, If you decide to meet them, be smart about it: Meet up in a public place, during the day with friends you trust: Tell an adult or a responsible sibling where you’re going, and when you expect to be back.

Trust your instincts if you have suspicions

If you feel threatened by someone or uncomfortable because of something online, tell an adult you trust and report it to the authorities and to BooYippee at violations@booyippee.com. You could end up preventing someone else from becoming a victim.

Don't mislead people into thinking that you're older or younger.

If you are under 13 and pretend to be older, BooYippee will delete your profile. If you are over 18 and pretend to be a teenager to contact underage users, BooYippee will delete your profile and inform the Authorities.

Notice to Parents

Talk to your child about the dangers of communicating on the Internet. Encourage them to never give out personally identifiable information about themselves, you or anyone that they know.

Encourage your child not to misrepresent their age. Misrepresentations can attract the wrong type of crowd.

Encourage your child to report to you and us any information regarding suspicious or inappropriate behavior by another user.

Tell your child to avoid chatting or communicating with people they don't know. People often impersonate or misrepresent themselves on the Internet.

If your child is under the age of 13 or otherwise does not have your permission to use this site, please contact us at violations@booyippee.com and we will immediately remove their profile and disable their account.
