What is BooYippee?

BooYippee is dedicated to showcasing your talent to a worldwide audience. Membership is free, and joining will enable you to upload your talent, enabling your audience to view, rate and review your contributions. What makes us different from other sites is that we are exclusively talent, and it's something we take very seriously.

As a member you will benefit from a community of people who appreciate talent. You will be able to maintain lists of your favourite contributions and artists. One of the benefits of being a member is you will have your own lounge where you can showcase your work for other people to view.

By joining BooYippee you will also be able to rate and review other peoples work, your reviews will be displayed in your lounge for all to see. As well as the ability to rate between one and ten, you can also rate by 'Booing' and alternatively 'Yippeeing'. By 'Booing' an upload you are effectively saying that it doesn't deserve to be on the site and if the items rating slips too low the clock starts ticking. If nothing changes it will be removed.

If you don't think you have a talent, there is nothing to stop you exposing someone else’s. But you must have the permission of the artist in question.

What we want

Our goal is to have a website dedicated to talent, where people can go to view and interact with a talent community. BooYippee will be a place that rewards those of you that have a talent to share, and also those that simply enjoy being the critic. By being exclusively talent the site will be known as the place to go if you want to view or find talent.

When you register you will be able to specify what level you are at in terms of experience, this can then be taken into consideration when people rate and review your work.

Upcoming Features

Following this, we will be implementing 'Talent Shows'. These will be run regularly and each will focus on a specific category. More details will be released on this aspect of the site at a later date, once the site is live.

As mentioned earlier, any feedback or suggestions that you can give us will be extremely useful to us.

To help us keep BooYippee as an 'exclusively talent' website, we ask you to use the functionality provided to report any abuse. When viewing talent you will have the ability to flag something as offensive, and also flag something as a non-talent. We investigate all reports of this nature, so your feedback in this regard is encouraged and appreciated.
